Bainisteoir

Heather Floyd ina bainisteoir ar Altram. Ceapadh í mar bhainisteoir ar an eagras i mí Iúil 2016. Tá céim aici sa tsocheolaíocht, antraipeolaíocht shóisialta agus teangeolaíocht agus tá os cionn cúig bliana is fiche taithí aici ag obair san earnáil pobail agus ealaíona. Sular thosaigh sí le hAltram, bhí sí ina bainisteoir ar Arts for All i dtuaisceart Bhéal Feirste. Sa bhliain 2015, d’fhill sí ar an oideachas lánaimseartha nuair a rinne sí freastal ar an chúrsa TICO i gColáiste Ollscoile Naomh Muire. Heather Floyd is manager of Altram. She took up post as manager in the organisation in July 2016. Heather has a degree in sociology, social anthropology and linguistics and over 25 years’ experience of working in the community and arts sectors. Her most recent post, prior to starting with Altram, was as manager at Arts for All in north Belfast. In 2015, she returned to full time education to attend the Irish-medium PGCE in St. Mary’s College. Within Altram, Heather has responsibility for: strategy; advocacy; lobbying; marketing; developing projects and overall management.

Oifigeach réigiúnach inniúlachta

Danny Cassidy ina oifigeach inniúlachta réigiúnach agus tá sé bunaithe i noifig Dhoire. Tá sé ag obair san earnáil le tríocha blian anuas agus is ball bunaithe de chuid Altram agus Naíscoil na Rinne é, chomh maith le réimse eile eagraíochtaí pobail i nDoire. Is é ionadaí na luathbhlianta lán-Ghaeilge ar an Western Area Childcare Partnership (WACP). Is comhchathaoirleach é faoi láthair. Tá sé ina chathaoirleach ar fhoghrúpaí an Phainéal Straitéiseach and Phainéal Dhearbhú Cáilíochtaí WACP. Ta Danny ina bhall de ghrúpa stiúrtha de Pháirtíocht Réigiúnach Chúram Leanaí agus den ghrúpa Réigiúnach Sure Start. Rinne sé ionadaíocht don earnáil lán-Ghaeilge ar Ghrúpa Comhairleach na Luathbhlianta, an Roinn Oideachais, agus d’imir sé ról maidir le forbairt straitéis 0-6 bliana na Roinne chomh maith.

Danny Cassidy is the regional capacity officer and is based in the Derry office. He has worked in the sector for 30 years and is a founder member of both Altram and Naíscoil na Rinne as well as a range of other community organisations in Derry. He is the Irish-medium representative on the Western Area Childcare Partnership (currently co-chair) and chair of the Partnership’s Strategic Funding Panel sub-group and the Quality Assurance sub group. He is also a member of the Regional Childcare Partnership's training sub group and the Regional SureStart group. He represents the Irish medium sector on the Department of Education’s Pre-school Educational Advisory Group and has played a role in the development of the Department of Education’s 0–6 year old strategy.  

Danny has also been a member of the Ulster University’s steering group for the Certificate in Irish Immersion Education: Early Years (accredited) and has represented the sector on SureStart and the Department of Education’s Developmental Programmes for 2-3 year olds.

Speisaltóir luathbhlianta

Is speisialtóir luathbhlianta le hAltram í Bridgeen McGlinchey atá bunaithe in oifig Dhoire. Ceapadh sa phost í in 1997. Tá Dioplóma i nGaeilge aici chomh maith le céim in Oideachas sna Luathbhlianta. Tá saineolas agus taithí leitheadach aici san earnáil luathbhlianta lán-Ghaeilge. Is duine de bhunaitheoirí an chéad naíscoil i nDoire í agus bhí sí mar mhaoirseoir ansin ó 1982-1986. Ó 1986-1997, bhí sí ina maoirseoir agus ansin ina bainisteoir ar Naíscoil na Rinne. Ba mheasúnóir í leis an North West Institute of Further and Higher Education do NVQ leibhéal 3.

Mar chuid dá ról le hAltram, tugann sí tacaíocht do, and roinneann sí saineolas le, suíomhanna ar an taobh thiar den Bhanna. Tá sí cáilithe mar thraenálaí do Volunteer Now – cumhdach and cosaint páiste.

Bridgeen McGlinchey is an early years specialist with Altram and is based in the Derry office. She has been in post since 1997. Bridgeen has a Diploma in Irish and a degree in Early Years Education. She has extensive expertise and experience in the Irish-medium early years sector. She was a founding member of first naíscoil in Derry and was supervisor there from 1982-1986. From 1986-1997, she was supervisor and then manager of Naíscoil na Rinne. Bridgeen was an assessor with the North West Institute of Further and Higher Education for NVQ level 3.

In her role with Altram, she provides support and shares expertise with settings west of the Bann. She is the trained trainer for Volunteer Now – safeguarding and child protection.

Speisialtóir luathbhlianta

Ceapadh Caitlín Ní Chonluain mar speisialtóir luathbhlianta le hAltram in 2015. Is múinteoir cáilithe í agus tá céim aici i dteanga agus litearthacht na Gaeilge. Tugann Caitlín comhairle agus tacaíocht do naíscoileanna deonacha agus reachtúla. Oibríonn sí le foireann speisialtóirí luathbhlianta Altram le cnuasoiliúintí saincheaptha traenála a reáchtáil i rith na bliana, a thacaíonn le cleachtóirí taithí ard-chaighdeán foghlama a chur ar fáil do pháistí a fhreastalaíonn ar shuíomhanna luathbhlianta lán-Ghaeilge. Is comhshínitheoir ACCESS NI í, rud a thugann deis do bhaill teacht ar sheirbhísí grinnfhiosrúcháin.                                                  

Caitlín Ní Chonluain joined Altram as an early years specialist in 2015. She is a qualified teacher, obtaining her PGCE in 2012 and has a BA Hons in Irish Language and Literacy. Caitlín offers support and advice to both voluntary and statutory nursery settings. She works within the early years team which offers specialised cluster training throughout the year to support practitioners in delivering high quality learning experiences for children attending Irish-medium preschool settings.  Caitlín is also a counter signatory for Altram which allows members to avail of Access NI vetting services.

Aisling Walls ina speisialtóir luathbhlianta le hAltram agus tá sí i bpost ó bhí 2008 ann. Tá céim céadonóracha aici in Oideachas sna Luathbhlianta agus tá sí sa bhliain deireanach de Mháistreacht san Oideachas ar Coláiste Ollscoile Naomh Muire, Béal Feirste.

Tá Aisling ag obair in earnáil an Ghaeloideachais ó 1999 agus tá ról gníomhach aici ar roinnt coistí bainistíochta áitiúla. Ina ról mar speisialtóir luathbhlianta tugann sí tacaíocht do shuíomhanna deonacha agus reachtúla. Mar chuid de fhoireann na speisialtóirí luathbhlianta, imríonn Aisling ról lárnach maidir le traenáil a sholáthair atá dírithe ar riachtanais ghrúpaí san earnáil. Is í an príomhshínitheoir maidir le ACCESS NI in Altram.

Aisling Walls is an early years’ specialist for Altram and has been in post since 2008. She has a First Class Honours degree in Early Years Education and is in her final year of her Masters in Education at St Marys University College Belfast.

Aisling has worked in the Irish-medium sector since 1999 and plays an active role on local management committees. In her capacity as early years specialist she supports both voluntary and statutory early years settings. As part of the EYS team, Aisling plays a key role in delivering training designed to meet the needs of groups in the sector. She is lead signatory for ACCESS NI within Altram.

Tugann sí tacaíocht do ghrúpaí non - PEAG chomh maith. Tá B. Oid céadonóracha aici ó Choláiste Ollscoile Naomh Muire agus theagasc sí ar feadh roinnt blianta sular thosaigh sí ag obair le foireann na speisialtóirí luathbhlianta.

Wendy Finn is the regional Irish-medium early years programme support specialist for the Sure Start Developmental Programme for 2 - 3 year olds. She also supports non-PEAGs groups. She has a B. Ed, with First Class Honours, from St Marys University College Belfast and taught for several years before joining the EYS team.

Her role within Altram is to support staff teams working in Irish-medium Sure Start Developmental Programmes for 2 - 3 Year olds; design and deliver bespoke training; provide support for staff; provide support for parents through resources and to work with specialists from all trust areas across the North. She has been actively promoting the Irish language for the last 15 years.

Riarthóir

Ceapadh Nic Sadlier mar riarthóir Altram i mí na Bealtaine 2017. Tá céim chéad onóracha i dTeanga agus Litríocht na Gaeilge bainte amach aige ó Ollscoil Uladh, Béal Feirste. Tá Nic ag obair san earnáil Ghaeilge le tuairim is fiche bliain anois, obair a chuimsíonn na healaíona, oideachas, na meáin Ghaeilge agus abhcóideacht.

Nic Sadlier was appointed Altram administrator in May 2017. He gained first class honours in his Irish Language and Literature degree from the University of Ulster, Belfast. Nic has worked in the Irish language sector for around twenty years now, work that includes the arts, education, media and advocacy.
